The product is really great with excellent build quality and for someone who had never used SPD’s before it’s a great start and a perfect replacement (I guess). All I had to do was install the medium spacers on the pedals with no other fiddle and the plates on my old Giro Rumble shoes and I was good to go.
I don’t know how the pedals will hold up in time, as I never had this product before, but they feel pretty sturdy. The shipping was extremely fast, it arrived to Romania (EU country, no Schengen yet thanks to the Austrian Bundesminister für Inneres Gerhard Karner) in 24h from my order; that’s faster than some other internal shipments within my city.
All in all, this seems to be an excellent product.

Delivered extremely quick via DHL (and I live in Australia). Great product. The 200N MAGNET is incredibly strong and pedals are lightweight comparable to high end clipless pedals. For first time (yet agressive) rider, I suggest to set your pedals at the strongest setting and dial it down to your desired level. And to avoid unnecessary injuries during settings, practice to get on and off your pedals while on your trainer (if you have one) as you need to get on and off your bike multiple times. Unlike mainstream clipless pedals, magped pedals requires a bit of muscle power and yank your feet “violently” to get off the pedal (200N really bites). If you prefer a gentle twist on your ankle to get you off the pedal, perhaps repeat the above process but start from the weakest setting (or replace to 150N magnet) and dial it up to your desired range. My only concern is the plastic bracket for the metal shoe plate. I can see that this will be the first thing you need to replace after a year or two. And also at the price point of EUR189, I wish Magped include a set of 150N in the box as an option.
