Magped magnetic pedals are not equipped with a firm mechanical connection comparable to standard clipless pedals. The magnetic force is impacted by several factors e.g. magnet size, dirt, wear and direction of force applied. An unintended disconnection from the pedals is possible at any point of time.

Delivery was fast and these pedals are extremely good on my gravel bike. With my duck like feet my right heel clips the rear frame when using SPD clips. These megpedals allows my foot to rotate and now I’m very comfortable and my heal no longer hits the frame.
As a v nervous clipped in cyclist I contacted Magped for advice and could not have had kinder efficient hep and response. As pedals go they are a fair price. Just need to update my muscle memory as the attachment position is quite different to my previous cleat position. Thank you all.
