Technology
Magped is all about precision engineering. Our pedals are built to last with three high-quality, sealed bearings for smooth, effortless pedalling. Our replaceable pins ensure long-lasting grip. The powerful neodymium magnet is finely tuned with our integrated polymer damper for optimal performance and safety.
Magped magnetic pedals are not equipped with a firm mechanical connection comparable to standard clipless pedals. The magnetic force is impacted by several factors e.g. magnet size, dirt, wear and direction of force applied. An unintended disconnection from the pedals is possible at any point of time.

I was finally able to dial in the exact strength that made me comfortable enough to be confident in a clip type system. Bravo guys, you should emphasize that customizability much more!

Verified ownerAbsolutely brilliant, I can't recommend them highly enough! My wife really struggled with traditional clipless pedals as she has a weak ankle from an old injury. Her struggle turned into fear and a mental block that she couldn't shake, so I got her the magped ROAD2 to try, and within minutes of trying she was already comfortable and confident on them. They're super easy to clip in and out, and have enough magnetic force that you can't easily disconnect by mistake. It might be possible to accidentally disconnect with very aggressive pedalling but she didn't experience any issues and they've been a game changer for her confidence and enjoyment of road cycling.

My first clipless pedals that work. I have a weak left leg and normal clipless pedals were almost impossible to clip out of due to lack of mobility on my left foot. No such issues with Magped road. Unclipping is almost as natural as flat pedals but I still get the feeling of being securely locked in and can take advantage of the up stroke. The best purchase I’ve made first my bike!

Being able to release rapidly has reduced some of the fear factor of being trapped in a cleat. Now the biggest challenge is clipping in #practice
