Magped magnetic pedals are not equipped with a firm mechanical connection comparable to standard clipless pedals. The magnetic force is impacted by several factors e.g. magnet size, dirt, wear and direction of force applied. An unintended disconnection from the pedals is possible at any point of time.

My second set of Magped Road2 pedals. The first look of the recieved box: splendid. The usage even more! Cycling is safe! Now both of my bikes are having the same set.
Easy to install. First time use was on a 70 mile ride. Release was easy. Took a short time to get used to clip in but now no issues. I deliberately set them to lightest grip and my feet didn’t slip out. Much more confidence than with regular cleats.
Super to instal
Brilliant pedals. Great robust construction, light weight, reassuring and intuitive retention/connection with the shoe. The first genuine and effective alternative to ‘traditional’ clipless pedals, and 100 times easier to engage/disengage for this double amputee rider!
The Road2 pedals are my third set of Magped pedals.
They’re just as excellent as the Gravel and Ultra2 models I already use.
