magped SPORT2 pedals
The magped SPORT2 is our classic magnetic pedal in a greatly revised, improved version.
This pedal is perfect for gravel roads through to easier trails. The SPORT2 can be mounted on everyday bikes, MTBs and eBikes.
The SPORT2 offers the optimum compromise between flat and clip-in pedals and has a stable, lightweight CNC-milled aluminum body with CrMo spindle and an improved bearing system.

Magped magnetic pedals are not equipped with a firm mechanical connection comparable to standard clipless pedals. The magnetic force is impacted by several factors e.g. magnet size, dirt, wear and direction of force applied. An unintended disconnection from the pedals is possible at any point of time.

Great looking pedal. Perfect for my wife who is not a fan of spd’s. Build quality seems very good. If buying again I would get her the gravel version as the sport is a very big platform for little feet and the magnet is just a little to far back for her. But overall very impressed. And more to the point wife is confident using them.

I was impressed with how quickly the pedals arrived after placing my order — fast shipping right from the start.
Installation was straightforward and hassle-free. The included guide and instructional videos made the whole setup process smooth, even for someone doing it for the first time.
Having ridden with Shimano clipless pedals till now. I did need a short adjustment period to get used to the different release mechanism — pushing the knee outward rather than twisting the foot. However, once I adapted, the motion felt completely natural and intuitive.
The biggest difference I noticed was the boost in confidence on the trails. technical single tracks and along dirt roads, I felt noticeably more secure and in control compared to my previous setup.
Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Great build quality, easy installation, and a real improvement in ride confidence. Highly recommended.
