The magped SPORT2 is our classic magnetic pedal in a greatly revised, improved version.
This pedal is perfect for gravel roads through to easier trails. The SPORT2 can be mounted on everyday bikes, MTBs and eBikes.
The SPORT2 offers the optimum compromise between flat and clip-in pedals and has a stable, lightweight CNC-milled aluminum body with CrMo spindle and an improved bearing system.

Technology
Magped is all about precision engineering. Our pedals are built to last with three high-quality, sealed bearings for smooth, effortless pedalling. Our replaceable pins ensure long-lasting grip. The powerful neodymium magnet is finely tuned with our integrated polymer damper for optimal performance and safety.
Magped magnetic pedals are not equipped with a firm mechanical connection comparable to standard clipless pedals. The magnetic force is impacted by several factors e.g. magnet size, dirt, wear and direction of force applied. An unintended disconnection from the pedals is possible at any point of time.

Based on the first rides, seem to be just what I was looking for. A compromise between flat pedals and clipless. Magnets are strong enough to provide some extra boost for pedaling and help to keep the shoe from slipping off the pedals, while at the same time easy to detach.

I purchased these pedals to solve a problem. In 2020 I had surgery for a back hernia. The surgery went well, but my left leg lost 50% of its strength. That effected me using a bike because I could not keep my left foot correctly on the pedal. That problem is now solved with the Magped Sport2 pedals. In combination with Shimano shoes and plates I’m enjoying biking again!

Great pedals, allows for more options of foot placement. The adjustment of the magnets up and down also allow you to control the magnet strength. You can get power down fast regardless of which side of the pedal you are on which is great for getting going again after stopping on a hill. Highly recommended and the delivery is only 2 or 3 days!

I’ve completed a few rides now with the Sport2, and I’m so impressed. I have a hip injury which makes clipless pedals hard for me to unclip from. These Sport2 pedals are fantastic, they have enough grip that my feet don’t come off the pedals, but then when I do need to, they come off easy.
Easy to fit the plate to the shoes and easy to adjust. Great product, thank you !!!
